Garden update
We've been (fairly) busy in the garden. Here is a quick update of what's going on (plus a brief intervention from the good people of Southern Rail).
Sausage, Egg & Onion Pie with some lovely cupcakes
SAUSAGE, EGG & ONION PIE
Thought we would have something a bit different this Sunday, so went for this savoury pie and some salad. It was very yummy, if you want the recipe leave a message and I will send it on.

There are many different variations of the quiche, tonight I just made one with a few things lurking in the fridge:
- Ready Made pastry case (These are really great and far less hassle than making your own)
- 6 Rashes of lean bacon chopped into small pieces
- 1/4 of an onion (i used red as didnt have white ones)
- small tub of double cream and dash of milk (you can use all milk if you prefer, about 200ml)
- Grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- Seasoning
Mix all ingredients together and pour into pastry case and bake until set - 30 mins or so."
She also made some tasty individual crumbles:
